So what the hell is the purpose of this website? It's a collection of reviews for obscure arcade games you probably have never played, or even heard of for that matter... and articles on other fun trivial arcade game facts. I promise your life will be completely enriched by the rare, yet useless information provided here.

This website looks like shit and won't win any web design awards. You have been warned. Also, this site makes gratuitous use of title tags on images. If you're not mouseover'ing images, you're missing out on some dumb jokes!

January 11th, 2013 - Oops, this took a little longer than expected. But here it is, another actual update with new content. And this isn't just any update, oh no. This is The Super Spy, a review/walkthrough that took me 6 years to finish. I'm not joking here. I originally had the idea to just make a page focusing on Pink, the female next-to-last boss of the game in 2006, but it seemed weird not to really make an effort at covering the rest of the game. I knew of course that the game had lots of material that would be worth talking about, and wondered if I should do a sort of visual walkthrough for the game. Of course, I realized how much work that would entail and lost interest in doing that very quickly. Over time I tried coming back to it and would type up a little bit for it here and there, but it was still too daunting. Finally a couple months ago, at the same time I started working on the Skate Kid Bros page, I decided it was time to see The Super Spy through to completion and resumed working on it. It's ballooned out of control and become even longer than I feared it would be, but it's over and done with and submitted for your reading pleasure.

I don't think I'll ever do another "review" on this website that's as long as The Super Spy, but I'm still trying to commit to getting some more updates out in the near future! Possibly a new section for things I want to talk about that don't merit "full" reviews (because boy am I ready to tackle some much shorter stuff now after this).

November 27th, 2012 - NEW CONTENT!
Yes, I have been ridiculously neglectful of this website, and have added nothing new to it over the last 4 and a half years. Well, that drought is over! Please enjoy a look at a strange rom hack called Vs. Skate Kid Bros. You might learn a thing or two about the original source material as well!
As for the future of this site? Contrary to what you might think, I haven't run out of ideas or material for new updates - I actually have at least a half dozen pages that I've started but not gotten very far on, none of them being anywhere near completion. It's always a matter of finding the motivation (and time) to get the rest of the work done on them.
The good news is, during the course of writing this last review I've also spent a bit of time doing stuff for what I want to be the next update... which at this rate is going to end up being the most massive section on this page yet. And I do want to get it done very soon, for once. We'll see how well that enthusiasm holds up in the near future!
Finally, I'm realizing that with the increased amounts of time I've put into the most recent reviews on this site, it really makes the old ones look bad. I clearly rushed them just for the sake of getting them done and up on the internet. As a result, I'm not really proud of the first few things I uploaded way back in 2004 (crap on a crutch, has it really been that long?!?)... and gosh darnit, Chimera Beast deserves to have a much better page, at least! The idea of trying to go back and improve old reviews may not be as enticing to people as new content... but I feel like there's a lot that can be changed for the better. If nothing else, adding some videos to accompany this stuff (like I did with Skate Kid Bros) would help things, especially for that dumb MK2 Babality thing. Slightly revised reviews would also let me update this page more since I wouldn't have to do quite as much work (in theory). Hmmmm....
Oh also, while I haven't actually edited the content of any old reviews, I have decided to go back and make them a little more readable since they never had Arial font. I still want to redo the layout of this main page too, but I'm obviously so terrible at HTML. Guh!

March 20th, 2012 - Uhhhh, wow. I'm not exactly sure how something like this could happen, but this half-assed website somehow managed to inspire someone to create their own website of silly game reviews (and other fun things). And it's been around for nearly 4 years! So if you're saddened by the lack of new content here, do check out Gaming Hell, won't you? It should keep you plenty busy until I make a real update here. But maybe, just maybe, I'll manage to add a new review before I end up going 4 years on this page without adding any new content...?!?

October 31st, 2011 - On Halloween, the dead come back to life! Or rather, due to popular demand (well okay, one person asked), I decided to revive my old web project - Shock Therapy, a webpage about my favorite game in the whole world, Shock Troopers. I put it up on the internet back in 1999 and made no updates to it in over a decade (shocking, I know). It doesn't really feel right not having the page around, so there it is. Ultimately I kinda wanna do a new tribute to Shock Troopers, since I learned a lot of things about the game in that time and even ended up getting the highest score in the world on it. But we all know how I am about finishing new things for websites, right? Ha ha... ha......
